After seeing the conference in action on day one, I was very excited to get up and head over this morning. Just like yesterday, the place was buzzing. I set up the GradeSlam booth in the Incubator Pavilion and got ready to talk to educators in the ed-tech world.
In the afternoon, I attended the opening keynote address given by Reshma Saujani, founder and CEO of Girls Who Code. It was a great talk in which Reshma highlighted the importance of girls learning how to code.
Throughout the rest of the day, I manned the GradeSlam booth. We had a considerable amount of interest and people were definitely impressed with GradeSlam’s offer of free tutoring for their students. A few even mentioned that GradeSlam’s Twitter campaign got their attention which was nice to hear.
Ultimately, it was great to meet so many people passionate about ed-tech.
Looking forward to another great day tomorrow!
If you haven’t stopped by already, be sure to stop by the Incubator Pavilion #2005. Only one day left!
