Thoughts on Day 4 from the Founder & CEO of GradeSlam, Phil Cutler:
After being at the office until midnight last night (and scoring some free scallops thanks to the catering team working an event in Notman), I had to get my stuff ready for my meeting in Philadelphia with one of the most prominent school networks in the area.
The next morning, I realized that I had forgotten a crucial part of my GradeSlam display for the EdSurge Summit in New Orleans this weekend. Unfortunately that meant I had to get back downtown to the office to pick it up before my 10AM flight. Needless to say, I had a busy morning.
Luckily for TSA pre-approval and NEXUS, my time getting to the gate was minimal. I was even able to grab two St. Viateur bagels with cream cheese at the airport before boarding (they truly are the best).
In Philadelphia, I hopped in a rental car and shot over to the school in West Philly, where I had a great meeting with the administrative staff of a prestigious school.
After my meeting, I hopped back in the rental car and headed back to the airport to catch my flight to New Orleans. Sadly, due to my short connection I didn't have the time to see some of Philadelphia's major historical sites.
I’m actually writing this from the plane and am about to touch down in New Orleans. I’m gearing up for a crazy and exciting weekend at the EdSurge Summit in New Orleans...this weekend’s going to be a big one!
